The Government aim for children to achieve set expectations within the new curriculum for their Reading, Writing and Maths.

 

To achieve a Good level of Development – children in Reception must achieve all Early Learning Goals within Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication, Physical Development, Maths and Literacy.

To pass the end of Year 1 Phonic test – children need a score of 32+ out of 40

Our key areas to improve are:

  • To achieve the national average in the Year 1 Phonics screening tests.
  • To increase the percentage of pupils achieving the expected standard Reading, Writing and Maths.
  • Improve percentage of children making the expected standard in reading, writing and maths in years 1-6.
  • Continue to improve the outcomes within Writing.
