By the end of KS1 our pupils are in line with national standards in reading.
By the end of KS2 our pupils are broadly in line with national standards in reading, writing and maths at expected. At greater depth of standard they perform better than national standards in reading and maths. This is a fantastic achievement for our children.

The Government aim for children to achieve set expectations within the new curriculum for their Reading, Writing and Maths.
To achieve a Good level of Development – children in Reception must achieve all Early Learning Goals within Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication, Physical Development, Maths and Literacy.

Our key areas to improve are:
- To achieve the national average in the Year 1 Phonics screening tests.

- Continue to improve the outcomes within Writing.
