On behalf of the staff and governors it is a pleasure to welcome you to St. John’s Church of England (A) Primary School, where I am proud to be the headteacher.

At St. John’s we aim to give every child the best possible start to their education.  We are a caring community where we inspire all to do their best through our Christian values of Dedication, Courage and Joy.  Our children benefit from our committed staff and extensive grounds that encourage them to flourish as individuals so that they grow in all aspects of learning and school life and reach their highest potential.

Through school, home and parish working closely together, our children develop a curiosity for life, making them happy and healthy, where they see the wonders that our world provides and the people within it.  Our broad curriculum and range of enrichment opportunities equip all children to express their own opinions, whilst valuing and respecting the views of others.  Also, importantly, they see how they can contribute to our society, both during their time here and in the future.
