Encounter Cafe

We have a Tuesday morning cafe where any parent/carers are warmly invited to come along.
It starts at 8.45am and finishes at 10am.
It is a time of chatting, laughing, drinking tea or coffee, eating biscuits, colouring - or even having a place to share a worry or two, if it helps. It’s for you to have a bit of ‘me time’ with others who can help if needs be.
Pre-school children are also welcome.

Beth Johnson Foundation
St. John's staff and pupils regularly work on projects together with the Beth Johnson Foundation to support and develop intergenerational work. We also work with Keele University to support research projects. Please see the video below showing the latest research documentary work supported by funding from Keele University.
Keele University

The St. John's teams link regularly with Keele University to support research work. Most recently our children took part in a healthy lifestyle promotion day, led by Masters Pharmacy students. Some very lucky families also attended the live filming of the Royal Institution Christmas lectures.

Springfield Manor Care Home
Staff and pupils regularly visit the local care home to spend time with the residents. Our pupils enjoy performing songs and joining in with craft activities.
Our Year 3 and 4 children recently enjoyed a wonderful Christmas visit to Spingfield Manor. They delighted the residents by performing Christmas songs, dancing, and sharing festive greetings. It was a truly fantastic afternoon, and the children should be very proud of themselves for spreading so much joy and cheer. 🎄✨
